Kozy Rest Kampground - Guest Comments

The vast majority of people who camp at Kozy Rest Kampground are pleased with their experience and plan to return again soon. If any part of your camping experience leaves you anything less than fully satisfied, we hope that you will take the time to call matters to our attention … preferably while you are still here at the campground. We will do everything possible to resolve any problems as promptly and efficiently as possible. For the same reason, if you have stayed with us and would like to share your thoughts regarding any aspect of your experience, we encourage you to use the following form. Kozy Rest Kampground Makes the “A” Grade in the Nation’s First
Consumer Satisfaction Survey of Independent, Privately-Owned Parks

Kozy Rest Kampground was one of only 31 campgrounds and RV resorts across the country to earn an all around “A” grade in the nation’s first consumer satisfaction survey of independent parks. The 170 site campground, located in Harrisville, Pennsylvania, recognized by Trailer Life Directory as a “Top Rated” Park for 2009, received an “A” grade in overall guest satisfaction for the year 2009. The park also received an “A” rating in the same survey for 2008. The top parks were announced in Orlando, Florida on November 12, 2009 during an awards ceremony hosted by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.

Nearly 17,000 camping and RV enthusiasts participated in the 2009 online survey, which evaluated guest experiences at 1,840 independent campgrounds and RV resorts affiliated with the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. Consumers are invited to submit their own reviews of private campgrounds and RV resorts they have recently visited by logging on to links such as the one below or which can be found at www.gocampingamerica.com, then clicking on the “Review a Park” tab. Survey results for many parks are posted on the GoCampingAmerica website. The GuestRated.com national online survey program was launched in February 2008 in collaboration with the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.

I was completely satisfied with the mini vacation that my family had at Kozy Rest Kampground. I will be returning to here and with tell people of this wonderful, peaceful place in the middle of the woods. Kudos to the staff as this place was clean and very well run. Keep up the good work.

We had a wonderful stay. From the friendly greeter at the entrance, Bob, to our golf cart escort to our very level site, to delivered wood. We enjoyed ceramics, mini golf, bingo and even a great church service on Sunday. Amish baked goods were awesome and the food trailer was a nice surprise, giving us a break from cooking. The grounds and bathrooms are spotless! We will be back many times this year!

We were at the campground the weekend that the new bathhouse opened. Having a nice bathhouse is so important to the group that I was with, and we all raved about the new and clean area. We have visited other campgrounds before, and their bathhouses do not compare to Kozy Rest. We will definitely be back.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The staff provided a very warm environment for my entire family, making us feel right at home for our week long stay! They also were constantly working to ensure that everything was clean, neat, and well groomed throughout the park! What a wonderful place to stay for a week. Excellent activities for my children, and a very safe and clean environment for us to spend a nice relaxing week. We will be back!

The service at this park is great. You are greeted upon entering and everyone is always friendly. We could not ask for a better place for a family get-a-way. Our children love going to Kozy Rest since there is always something to do no matter the season. We kick off the camping season at Kozy Rest and end our last camping weekend there too.

Kozy Rest is the cleanest and friendliest camp ground that we have been at. We try to make reservations at Kozy Rest every Father’s Day as long as our schedule allows and Halloween weekend also. It is so relaxing and friendly there. Denny and Kathy and staff are the greatest. We have told so many campers that we have run into to go to Kozy Rest. They get AAAAAAAAAAA in our book.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Kozy Rest, the owner and his family is very dedicated to the business and work very hard to keep the camp ground safe and clean. The restrooms and showers are spotless and plenty of hot water. My 3 children loved all of the activities that were provided. The camp ground had level and spacious spots. We had children of all ages in our camping group and activities ran throughout the day for all ages (from movies to flashlight candy hunts to wagon rides and more). All the adults in my group felt it gave all the children something to look forward to throughout the day, as well as enjoying the outdoor experience.
